Addiction Education

We help clients develop a deeper understanding of addiction as a disease as well as its impact on the mind and body.

Routes to Self-Discovery

Through a range of substance abuse treatments, we help clients uncover the emotional and psychological factors that have fueled their disease. As clients learn more about themselves, they awaken to the strength they possess to move forward with confidence.

Support-System Development

Clients learn how to build healthy, supportive relationships, so they have a reliable network of family and peers that will help them face challenges and celebrate successes.

Relapse Prevention

The successful completion of alcohol detox, drug detox, alcohol and drug rehabilitation programs, and other substance abuse treatments does not mean the journey is over. We help clients develop the tools to manage stress triggers as well as the coping strategies to maintain long-term sobriety.

Aftercare Planning

On day one, we begin preparing people for the journey that begins after treatment ends. We work with each client to create an individualized action plan that is comprised of the tools, resources, and support they will need to maintain continued sobriety.

Data Source: As part of Mountainside’s alumni program, clients were contacted and asked about their sobriety at one month, three months, six months, nine months, and one year after completing the Residential program. Data for 293 clients (19% of total) at six months and 247 clients (19% of total) at one year post Residential stay are shown.
