Nationally acclaimed addiction treatment center to extend reach to Westchester, NY
Canaan, CT – Mountainside announced expansion of its behavioral health platform by opening a new outpatient location in Westchester County, NY, this spring. The new stand-alone Outpatient Services center will be located at 480 Bedford Road, Chappaqua, NY. The 4,158-square-foot center will feature outpatient substance abuse treatment aimed at helping clients maintain sobriety while living within their own community.
“Our new Chappaqua location ensures that we can provide highly individualized addiction treatment to even more people in need,” said Stephen Langley, Executive Vice President. “By bringing our Outpatient Services to the area, we are helping people learn skills and techniques that will enable them to overcome challenges to their sobriety in their everyday life.”
Westchester County had 107 opioid-related deaths in 2016, according to the New York State Health Department data. From 2010 to 2015, Westchester had the third-highest percentage increase in drug deaths per 100,000, from 5.4 percent to 12 percent, reported The Rockefeller Institute of Government.
Mountainside Chappaqua will deliver the same level of excellence as Outpatient Services at the main Canaan location. A dedicated team of professional clinicians will provide clients with evidence-based treatment and care. Mountainside Chappaqua will offer three levels of programming: Intensive Outpatient, Outpatient, and Individual Therapy.
Outpatient services will include:
- Individual and Group Counseling
- Family and Couples Counseling
- Psychiatric Services
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
- Medication-Assisted Treatment
- Health and Wellness Education
