Mountainside Benefits


Our health and wellness benefits are intended to not only provide the important insurance coverage you need, when you need it but also help you manage, improve and maintain your health and well-being.


You have the opportunity to enroll in a traditional Point of Service plan where you are able to obtain services from participating and non-participating providers. Mountainside provide three tiers of health insurance, two co-pay plans and a high deductible health plan. Mountainside will cover up to 80% of the monthly premium for the medical insurance.  Employee’s portion of the premium is deducted on a pre-tax basis.

Health Savings Accounts

We offer individual and family Health Savings Accounts (HSA) for employees who choose to elect in our high deductible health plan or (HDHP) for medical insurance. HSA’s provide many tax advantages for employees and the funds will roll over and accumulate year-to-year if not spent.


Our dental program allows for dental services in-network and out-of network.  You have access to one of the largest national network of preferred providers.  Although you are not required to use these providers, benefits are enhanced when selecting providers within the preferred network.


Our vision program provides rich, flexible plans that allow you to safeguard your health while saving you money. Visit any doctor with your full feature plan, and save by visiting any of the 50,000+ locations in the nation’s largest vision network.

Short & Long Term Disability

These benefits are company funded for income replacement for employees who are unable to work due to an illness, pregnancy or injury.

Group Term Life & Accidental Death & Dismemberment

Our Group Life Insurance policy provides up to 1x your annual salary to a maximum of $100,000 worth of Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance.  This policy is paid for 100% by Mountainside.

Voluntary Life & Accidental Death & Dismemberment

Employees have the opportunity to purchase additional Life and AD&D options for themselves, spouse and child(ren) with the convenience of payroll deductions. Employees are able elect in increments of $10,000 to a maximum of $250,000 for themselves.

Critical Illness

This benefit provides a cash benefit when an insured employee is diagnosed with a critical illness or event after coverage is in effect.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Employees can utilize free telephonic consultation guidance from a certified counselor 24/7 and have access to local counselors with free-of charge sessions.

Flexible Spending Accounts

We offer two types of Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).  A health care FSA, which allows you to set aside a portion of your earnings, on a pre-tax basis, to pay for qualified medical expenses.  A dependent care FSA allows you to do the same for qualified dependent day care expenses.


Mountainside’s 401(k) plan is an excellent means of long-terms savings for your retirement. Mountainside will match, on a dollar for dollar basis, the first 3% of your compensation and an additional 50% for the next 2% that you contribute to the plan

Employee Referral Program

Current employees can refer a qualified candidate for a position within Mountainside and if they are hired on a full-time basis, you receive a bonus amount that will range from $750 to $1,500 after your referral completes six months of service.

Paid Time Off

Time away from work helps you recharge and stay motivated.  In addition to paid holidays, we allow you a number of days away from work and compensate you for them.  Our Paid Time Off program allows you to manage and maximize your time away from work.  You directly control a total block of paid time off, including vacation, sick and personal time.  The amount of paid time off available each year is based on several factors, including your years of service.

Training & Development

We offer you many ways to develop and explore opportunities to grow personally and professionally through continuing education, internal training, and professional credentials/licensing courses.  We also offer potential tuition reimbursement, dependent on position and educational program.
