Support Groups

It is often said that the opposite of addiction is not sobriety, but connection. Having a strong support system is paramount to your sobriety and recovery journey. At Mountainside, we offer a wide range of in-person and virtual support groups for individuals in recovery and friends and families with loved ones in recovery. These groups are designed to help you stay connected to like-minded individuals regardless of where you are.

Whether you are new to sobriety and need some support to get through the challenges of early recovery, or you are looking to connect with like-minded individuals who want to lead a substance-free life, we have a group for you. All meetings are conducted by caring addiction treatment professionals and wellness experts who provide a safe space for you to share your accomplishments, setbacks, and recovery goals.

If you are not able to attend an in-person meeting, our virtual support groups for individuals in recovery and family and friends with loved ones in recovery are easily accessible from anywhere using the Microsoft Teams application on your smartphone or laptop.

To maintain the privacy and safety of our community, attending our support groups for educational or research purposes is not permitted. However, you may find helpful information through our drug glossary and blog.
