Learn how to use systems, marketing, and referral partnerships to create a private pay therapy practice or get more private pay clients.

About this Event

Join us for a series of talks on how to start or grow your private pay therapy practice. We’ll cover how you can differentiate yourself to reach private pay and out-of-network clients, build referral connections, and set up systems to make out-of-network reimbursement easy.

Speakers:

Amanda Crowell, Cognitive Psychologist and Business Coach

Amanda will briefly discuss the foundation of marketing a private pay practice and spend time workshopping with your practice. As the time cost of insurance goes up and the reimbursement rates go down, more and more practitioners are wondering how to switch from an insurance model to a private pay model for their therapy practices. This is also a great event for those, like coaches and counselors, who haven’t been able to take insurance.

Mariah Parker, Head of Growth at MyWellbeing

The best marketing focuses on who you can help and how you can help them. Mariah will talk about how you can use your helper mindset to reach out to prospective clients and show them that you are the right therapist for their needs. She’ll share insights that MyWellbeing has gained from matching thousands of New Yorkers with therapists, with a special focus on referrals.

William Brown, CEO/Founder of Reimbursify

Bill will discuss how to make health insurance reimbursement for out-of-network practice efficient for patients and effortless for practitioners. Providing the Reimbursify app to your caseload can help your mental health practice grow and thrive. Eliminating time spent dealing with insurance companies allows you to focus on your practice and optimize your time helping patients. Bill will share how to increase your new patient acquisition with a simple script, reduce rescheduled sessions and also provide a special offer for attending practitioners.
