Nationally acclaimed addiction treatment center to extend reach to Southwestern CT

Canaan, CT – Mountainside today announced expansion of its addiction treatment and care by opening its first off-campus location in Wilton, Connecticut, this March. The new stand-alone Outpatient Services center will be located at 372 Danbury Road, Wilton, CT. The 5,000-square-foot center will feature outpatient treatment aimed at helping clients achieve total wellness.

“Our new Wilton location extends Mountainside’s core mission of delivering extraordinary addiction treatment and care,” said Steve Langley, Executive Director of Mountainside. “By bringing our Outpatient Services to the area, we are helping people embrace sobriety while continuing to navigate their everyday life. We’re excited to bring our model of holistic, integrative addiction treatment to this area, where we can serve even more people in need.”

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Fairfield County had 26 percent of the total state population in 2014. An estimated 60,000 adults with substance abuse disorder live in the county. At the center of Fairfield County, Wilton is an accessible and convenient location for people in recovery living in southwestern Connecticut. Mountainside’s new center will improve healthcare services in the area and will enable clients to achieve sustained recovery without having to take a long break in their personal work, school, or family commitments.

A dedicated team of licensed clinicians will provide clients with compassionate and professional treatment and care. They will help clients overcome short-term challenges to sobriety as they go about their everyday life as well as help clients set and accomplish long-term recovery goals. Mountainside Wilton will offer three levels of programming to better meet individual needs: Intensive Outpatient, Outpatient, and Individual Therapy.
