Canaan, CT – Mountainside treatment center, a pioneer in holistic addiction treatment, will commemorate 21 years in the industry on February 26. The rehabilitation facility has built a distinguished reputation for itself through its integrative approach to treatment, which combines clinical programming with evidence-based wellness practices.
“Addiction is influenced by many environmental and individual factors, so addiction treatment should never be one-size-fits-all. Mountainside’s mind-body-spirit philosophy drives clients’ chances of success in recovery by meeting their individual needs and encouraging total well-being,” says Stephen Langley, Mountainside’s Executive Vice President of Clinical and Cultural Stewardship. “Our customized programming guides clients through the hurdles of early sobriety and provides them with the skills they need to heal and thrive in recovery.”
Last year, the rehabilitation center celebrated two decades of providing innovative treatment services to address substance use and co-occurring disorders. It has since continued to act on its promise of raising the standard of care and delivering an unsurpassed client experience.
Within the past year, Mountainside celebrated a major milestone: the opening of a new outpatient location in Chappaqua, New York. Mountainside Chappaqua’s Outpatient Services facility ensures that clients who are unable to take time away from their professional or personal obligations can have their treatment needs met. The new center based in Westchester County makes services such as individual and group therapy, family counseling, wellness education, and Medication-Assisted Treatment more widely accessible to the public.
Mountainside’s Medication-Assisted Treatment program – available in its Canaan, Wilton, and Chappaqua locations – has also seen changes with the recent addition of Sublocade. A monthly injectable buprenorphine product, Sublocade has proven effective in the treatment of opioid use disorders and provides an alternative for clients who struggle to take their addiction medications on a daily basis. In offering Sublocade, Mountainside sets itself apart from other treatment centers and instills hope and healing into those struggling with opioid addiction.
“Our expanded platform reflects the growing needs of our community and uniquely positions us to shape even more lives in the coming years,” says Langley. “Looking ahead, our treatment offerings will evolve so we can continue to provide the best chance at a sober and meaningful lifestyle to everyone who walks through our doors.”
