Jana is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor with over 15 years of experience in the field. She co-chairs the Addictions Committee for the National Association of Social Workers of Connecticut and holds a Master of Social Work. Jana specializes in treating post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, and co-occurring disorders. She is especially skilled at supporting veterans, healthcare and wellness professions, and navigating complex family dynamics. At Mountainside, Jana utilizes Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Motivational Enhancement Treatment, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to help her clients achieve emotional balance. She also draws from her extensive experience as a yoga teacher to incorporate mindfulness and breathwork into her therapy sessions. In her free time, Jana enjoys practicing meditation and traveling with her family.
