Jennifer Schoonmaker

Jennifer is a Registered Nurse who has worked in various settings in the healthcare industry for two decades. Prior to Mountainside, Jennifer worked in the emergency department at a hospital where she developed a solid foundation of knowledge to rapidly assess emergencies and effectively communicate within a team during high-stress situations. She consistently aims to provide safe and high-quality care to foster a therapeutic environment for everyone. As Assistant Director of Nursing, Jennifer oversees the day-to-day operations of our detox program and assists with coordinating care across the continuum at Mountainside. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, gardening, and hiking.
