Joanne is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a graduate of SUNY New Paltz’s Mental Health Counseling M.S. program. She has experience working in community mental health centers, outpatient substance abuse clinics, and supportive mental health day programs. Joanne is trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy, which she uses to assist clients in gaining a greater sense of internal peace. At Mountainside, she takes an individualized approach to help each client identify strengths, set goals, and build a meaningful life in recovery. In her free time, Joanne enjoys writing, yoga, and listening to music.
