Kristin is a Licensed Professional Counselor with certifications in Mindfulness in the Classroom, Naloxone Overdose Education and Awareness, and In-Home Therapies. As an Outpatient Clinician, Kristin combines her experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Client-Centered Therapy with Mountainside’s holistic approach to provide clients with the tools they need both during treatment and long after it ends. She is additionally trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing and leads Dialectical Behavior Therapy groups. Kristin is also a volunteer for the Western Chapter of the Connecticut Counseling Association. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family and friends, and discovering the unique abilities of her rescue dog, Moe.
