Lauren Peterson

Lauren is a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor with nearly a decade of experience in the addiction field. Previously, she held a director’s role within the Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services, providing behavioral health resources to community members. In her clinical sessions, Lauren helps clients establish constructive patterns of thinking and behavior. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing and uses a person-centered approach to motivate, empower, and support clients as they develop and meet their recovery goals. In her leisure time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband on their pontoon boat, walking and hiking with her dog, being with family, and singing.
