Meg is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Co-occurring Disorders Professional with a Masters in Social Work, Clinical Practice, from Columbia University. She also holds a Seminar in Field Instruction certification, is a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers (ACSW), and has 35 years of experience in the helping profession. At Mountainside, she conducts one-on-one sessions with clients and facilitates the evening Intensive Outpatient Program. Through her undying sense of humor and hope, she assists people on their journey to recovery, and is particularly skilled at working with those who have experienced loss, trauma, and chronic physical and mental illness. In her leisure time, Meg enjoys hiking and spending time with her rescue, Norbert, as they prepare to become a therapy dog team.
