Rachel is a Recovery Coach Professional who has worked in multiple roles in the addiction treatment field and specializes in opiate and alcohol dependency, as well as relationship communication. At Mountainside, she serves as a peer support, motivating clients to become their best selves by helping them implement self-care practices, rediscover hobbies, and develop organizational skills. Rachel also assists high-risk individuals along with families and is part of Mountainside’s Crisis Intervention Team. Being in long-term recovery herself, Rachel understands the importance of being compassionate and open-minded by fostering connection and community. Through individualized care plans, she shows clients how to find a sense of self-worth and purpose. Rachel also aids in guiding families to have a better understanding of the disease of addiction by helping provide resources and gain their own supports. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys being outside in the Berkshires, yoga, and relaxing with her Israeli cat.
