It is often said that the opposite of addiction is not sobriety, but connection. Having a strong support system is paramount to your recovery. At Mountainside, we offer a wide range of in-person and virtual addiction peer support groups for individuals who struggle with substance abuse, as well as friends and families of loved ones struggling with sobriety. All our support groups are designed to help you stay connected to others who can understand the ups and downs of recovery.
Whether you are new to sobriety and need some support to get through the challenges of early recovery, or you are looking to connect with like-minded individuals who want to lead a substance-free life, we have a group for you. All of our addiction peer support groups are conducted by caring treatment professionals and wellness experts who provide a safe space for you to share your accomplishments, setbacks, and recovery goals. If you are not able to attend an in-person meeting, our virtual support groups for individuals in recovery and family and friends with loved ones in recovery are easily accessible from anywhere using the Microsoft Teams application on your smartphone or laptop.
To maintain the privacy and safety of our community, attending our support groups for educational or research purposes is not permitted. However, you may find helpful information through our drug glossary and blog.
