Alumni Ambassador Training

Alumni with at least one year of sobriety will support new alumni transition to life outside of treatment by helping them get to community support meetings, as well as establishing a support network. This training will provide the tools, resources, and guidance to help our new Ambassadors support new alumni in building their recovery networks as they leave treatment

Volunteer and Make a Difference

Give back to the community and strengthen your own recovery by cultivating fortitude and a sense of gratitude through volunteerism. Mountainside provides ongoing opportunities to discover new purpose and truly make an impact in the lives of others.

Be an Alumni Share Night Speaker

Alumni with at least six months of sobriety can share personal stories of recovery with individuals currently in treatment at Mountainside. You can help others to see that recovery is a real possibility and help them to visualize a healthy, sober future. Want to sign up?

Become an Alumni Ambassador

Alumni with at least a year of sobriety can help alumni transition to life after treatment. In order to become an Ambassador you have to fill out our application and sign up for our next Ambassador Training course.

Peer support group meetings provide you a safe space to share your feelings, emotions, setbacks, and successes. Attending meetings can also help you gain additional perspectives on challenges you may face and advice on how to overcome them. Most of all, peer support groups remind you that in recovery, you are never alone.
