Mountainside now offers Family Outpatient Services and Family Recovery Coaching for the loved ones of people in addiction treatment. Addiction is a family disease, and everyone in a family unit should have support if they require it.
When you start to get overwhelmed with stress, your cravings come back, and you start to feel defeated, know that setbacks are normal and you can overcome them.
Peer support group meetings provide you a safe space to share your feelings, emotions, setbacks, and successes. Attending meetings can also help you gain additional perspectives on challenges you may face and advice on how to overcome them. Most of all, peer support groups remind you that in recovery, you are never alone.
Mountainside offers a range of virtual and in-person support groups in multiple locations, including Canaan, CT, and New York City.
Get expert insight from the clinicians and professionals at Mountainside Treatment Center! Our blog is a popular resource for people looking for information about addiction treatment, detox, family wellness, mental health, sober fun and more.
