EMDR and Addiction: A Guide to Intervention in a Substance Abuse Treatment Setting is a live, interactive webinar via Zoom. This presentation is appropriate for: clinical professionals, psychologists, therapists, counselors, and social workers. This course is appropriate for all levels of education and experience. Participants will need to attend the entire live webinar in order to obtain 2 FREE social work CE credits.
This in-depth presentation will:
1. Define trauma.
2. Identify the stress response and common trauma responses.
3. Identify how we see trauma manifest itself in treatment settings.
4. Understand the correlation between trauma and substance use, and its implications for treatment.
5. Better understand and identify the different EMDR protocols that may help target both trauma and substance use, and when to use them.

Partial credits will not be given. You must participate in the entirety of the workshop.
