Marie Lanier, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and holds a Master of Social Work with a specialization in Substance Abuse Treatment from Fordham University. After interning at New York Presbyterian Hospital’s Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment facility, she worked as an in-home therapist and then as a clinical supervisor addressing the needs of underserved families, children, and adults with mental health diagnoses and co-occurring disorders. She has worked in the field of mental health and co-occurring disorders for 10 years and uses that experience in her current work at Mountainside where she is the Manager of Executive Projects, working with the Executive Team to initiate and facilitate initiatives to enhance company and clinical outcomes. Support Groups

It is often said that the opposite of addiction is not sobriety, but connection. Having a strong support system is paramount to your sobriety and recovery journey. At Mountainside, we offer a wide range of in-person and virtual support groups for individuals in recovery and friends and families with loved ones in recovery. These groups are designed to help you stay connected to like-minded individuals regardless of where you are.
