Acclaimed addiction treatment provider to expand reach to Long Island’s Suffolk County

Huntington, NYMountainside will extend its behavioral health network to Long Island this June, opening a new outpatient center in Suffolk County, NY. The 5000-square-foot facility will be located at 141 East Main Street, Huntington, New York. Mountainside Huntington will deliver outpatient addiction treatment designed to help clients overcome addiction while maintaining their personal and professional commitments in their community.

As the opioid crisis worsens across the state and the nation, access to effective addiction treatment is needed now more than ever.”

A 2018 report from the New York State Department of Health revealed that 333 Suffolk County residents died of opioid-related causes in 2016. That same year, Suffolk County’s opioid overdose death rate exceeded that of Long Island and New York State.

The Outpatient Services program in Huntington will provide high-quality recovery resources to all who walk through its doors, following in the footsteps of Mountainside’s main campus in Canaan, CT. Throughout its continuum of care, Mountainside employs approximately 300 individuals. A dedicated team of professional clinicians will offer lifesaving care and support at Mountainside Huntington, addressing clients’ concerns as they arise.

Mountainside Huntington will feature three levels of programming: Intensive Outpatient, Outpatient, and Individual Therapy.

Outpatient services will include:
