Jose is a Registered Nurse and Certified Addiction Registered Nurse with experience in hospitality and food management and holds a board certification specializing in addiction nursing. In Jose’s previous experience working on a medical unit at Yale New Haven Hospital, he was exposed to a wide population of clients detoxing from substance abuse. Jose is skilled in understanding the nuances of specific substance use disorders and aiding people through the withdrawal process. As Nursing Manager at Mountainside, Jose oversees all aspects of nursing care in the detox facility ensuring client safety and well-being throughout the detox process facilitating the best outcomes for a long-term recovery plan. In his leisure time, Jose enjoys living an active lifestyle with cycling, hiking, and swimming.
