More About This Event

First responders and healthcare workers devote their lives to keeping our communities safe — a very important, but at times very difficult, line of work. Over time, exposure to stress, chaos, and traumatic experiences can take a toll on their mental and physical health. These experiences can result in, but are not limited to: difficulty sleeping, anxiety, irritability, and isolation. As helpers, first responders often struggle to ask for help. To aid those who put their lives on the line every day, Mountainside is offering a free safe space for first responders to gather, share experiences, and receive support. This virtual support group will replace in-person meetings, until further notice.
