About This Addiction Recovery Support Group

Mountainside NYC is hosting weekly group meetings facilitated by a Recovery Dharma community member.  This group will occur on Monday evenings at 5:30 pm.

Recovery Dharma is a peer-led recovery movement founded on, and inspired by, traditional Buddhist teachings that originated in India and later flourished in other regions of Asia.

The Recovery Dharma community is unified by a trust in the potential of each person to recover and find freedom from the suffering of addiction. Members believe recovery is rooted in each person finding their own inner wisdom and in that process, the recovery journey creates empowerment. Join this meeting to connect with the Recovery Dharma community to support each other as partners walking the path of recovery together.

Support Groups

It is often said that the opposite of addiction is not sobriety, but connection. Having a strong support system is paramount to your sobriety and recovery journey. At Mountainside, we offer a wide range of in-person and virtual support groups for individuals in recovery and friends and families with loved ones in recovery. These groups are designed to help you stay connected to like-minded individuals regardless of where you are.
