**Q.** What suggestions do you have for the newcomer?
**A.** Surround yourself with people who you want to be like. This means asking positive people for support, like rides to meetings, sponsorship, coffee, their phone number, and general help. We’ve all been through what you’re going through. Take the chance to put yourself out there, and it’s pretty clear, people are a big help.
